Have you ever wondered what the serial number number of your Artemis device mean? Well, here it is … Your device SN should have the form of SSYWWPPZZZZZSS and the specific parts mean the following:

SS: so-called SITE CODE (i.e. a place of manufacturing): HT (?) or TW (Taiwan)
Y: last digit of the year of manufacturing
WW: week number
PP: product code
ZZZZZ: internal serial number

This scheme should be identical with most HTC devices. You should be able to find your serial number under the battery or labeled on the paper box packaging.

As mentioned at the HTC website, the Artemis will be sold in two versions. The main difference will be the packaging:

Taster Pack - the box will include the device itself, USB cable, AC/DC adapter, rubber case, CD with ActiveSync MS Outlook, SPB GPRS Monitor and Sprite Backup, TomTom Navigator 6 plus one free city map download. Taster Pack Datasheet is available here.

Premium Pack – in addition to all Taster Pack stuff mentioned above should the Premium Pack version sport CL adapter, car holder, 512MB micro SD card with Western Europe maps. Premium Pack datasheet is available here.
